Pure art! Part ambient collage, part travelogue, part industrial exploration... A beautifully challenging and rewarding surprise that plays on many different levels. Each listening reveals new and refreshing details.
"Clouds For Breakfast - is a soup, cooked out of different sounds - sounds of town, flying airplane, people dancing to the music, children playing outside, noise of waves of Amur river, singing and laughter, and separate words spoken. There's no special target of this album - it was born because it couldn't help being born there are so many sound waves around us, and these waves are eager to be recorded and organized - you think, that this is, for example, plain fridge noise, but you are wrong! - it has an ambition to become a rocket noise... I want to say thank you to Viktoria Andreychuk for her singing ang sighing, and to Ekaterina Aleksandrova (aka Halgrath - www.myspace.com/halgrath) for bursts of laughter, to Chema Alonso (chemaalonso.blogspot.com) - for making the cover arts for this album. Also thanks to Yan Rykhalsky (aka Vsevolod Botvinnik (Timoneus)) - for encouraging me to make field recordings and for showing me the right way to do them."
